TIMEVALUE

A framework should show
where it can be wrong.

Time & Value is a working canon, not a finished doctrine. Its public method keeps evidence, interpretation, and uncertainty separate enough to inspect.

01 / EVIDENCE

What can be checked.

Dates, events, quotations, measured outcomes, ownership structures, and other claims about the world.

02 / INTERPRETATION

What the lens proposes.

Which function moved, who received it, what was borrowed, and which historical relationship appears to recur.

03 / OPEN QUESTION

What remains unresolved.

Counterexamples, competing systems, uncertain outcomes, and questions the current canon cannot answer.

OPERATING RULES

The discipline
behind the atlas.

  1. 01

    Follow function through time

Do not classify a movement from its immediate appearance. Name the present function, later function, and repayment owner.

  2. 02

    Separate fact from interpretation

Historical claims require sources. The framework’s reading of those claims must remain visibly identified as interpretation.

  3. 03

    Comparison is not equivalence

A useful parallel must include the conditions that differ and the point where the comparison stops carrying weight.

  4. 04

    Building is not automatically good

Building describes increased future function. Moral judgment requires another question: function for whom, toward what end?

  5. 05

    Borrowing is not automatically bad

Borrowing can build more than it consumes when repayment is visible, owned, and supported by what the borrowing creates.

  6. 06

    Leave uncertainty visible

An honest open question is more valuable than an authoritative sentence the evidence cannot hold.

AI BOUNDARY

Capacity without final authority.

AI may research, organize, connect, compare, draft, format, and monitor. It may not silently convert uncertainty into doctrine or publish a new judgment as Brandon’s position.

Public comments, new claims, sensitive comparisons, and commercial changes retain a human approval gate.

“The ability to not force the framework onto a subject is part of the framework.”
